Sonic X Shadow Generations Update: Approved!

The revamped Sonic X Shadow Generations statue reached Sega headquarters last week for review. After a few days’ deliberation, the feedback is: looks great, no notes.

Well, OK, one note. The Dreamcast logo does indeed need to be properly recentered. But we knew that.

This means that, once we’ve seen a sample with the correct logo application, we’re good to move along to... manufacturing? Well, no. There are still several steps that we need to work through first. Most importantly, getting a proper manufactured sample rather than just a 3D print, to help ensure that the final product looks as good as the 3D print (while being more durable). So it’s still going to be a while before the final statue is in hand, but things are moving ahead smoothly!
